Gosberton House Academy has been awarded an Advanced Accredited Award from the National Autistic Society, according to their expectations for specialist schools. They have demonstrated the highest standards of good practice in supporting autistic children and young people. At Gosberton House Academy we believe that every young person should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of their learning and holistic development. Holbeach Primary Academy has been very busy in their outdoor planting area ready for our entry into the Holbeach in Bloom competition. Our children have been exploring a bug hotel, planting fruit and vegetables and spending time in the outdoor area for all aspects of the curriculum. We are currently undertaking recycling projects including painting wheel hubs for flowers on the fences and tin cans and tyres for planting.
On 15th June 2021, 11 Year 10 students studying French took part in a competition organised by Business Language Champions. There were 8 teams from different schools across the UK. The competition was called Europe Goes to Tokyo, an event to mark the 2021 Olympics. The event introduced students to Japanese culture and language, with the aim of using their French to market the Olympic Games in French with a fusion of French and Japanese culture. Two pupils at University Academy Long Sutton have won awards for their designs to “Bring Local Communities Together”, following their plaque designs for Sutton Bridge. Their work will be on consequent paperwork and newsletters. One of University Academy Long Sutton pupil has been awarded a prize for their work on the Lincolnshire Imp project. Their work will form part of the Lincolnshire Imp trail, with their design being part of the trail in Lincoln. Congratulations to everyone involved from all at UOLAT
GHA is pleased to announce that it is working within the Learning Outside the Classroom QM (LOtC) LOtC Mark is the only national accreditation for schools which celebrates their commitment to learning outside the classroom. The LOtC Mark provides a clear and flexible framework for schools to ensure all students have access to meaningful LOtC experiences across the whole curriculum both indoors and out, on and off site, including visitors bringing experiences into your school; activities in your school grounds; indoor and outdoor visits in your locality e.g. shops, sacred places, parks/woodlands; off-site visits to heritage/cultural sites, museums, theatres and residentials.
The Trustees of the Lincolnshire Educational Trust are delighted to announce the change of name of the trust to University of Lincoln Academy Trust. This follows a strategic review of the Trust in 2020. The Trust has updated its ethos and executive management based on that review. A major aim of the review is to build closer working relationships with different areas of the University.

Staff and pupils at Holbeach Primary Academy have welcomed two Texal/Dorset cross lambs to the flock. Youngsters will be helping to care for the two lambs along with the school’s existing ducks and chickens as part of its outdoor learning programme.
