The Autumn Term has been incredibly busy at Holbeach Bank Academy. The positive attitudes shown by all within the academy contributes to the learning and achievements we’ve seen already this term.
We started the term with some local visitors to enhance our learning. We welcomed Mr Gratton along with his miniature steam engine linking to learning around the industrial revolution in Years 5 & 6, and sound in EYFS. We deepened our musical understanding following the visit from the travelling orchestra in the Summer Term with a visit from the Holbeach Town Band. Seeing the instruments up close and hearing about their origins and how they’re played was amazing. We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play them as well- even the adults had a go!
We have enjoyed participating in community events for Remembrance as well as an exciting visit to the Spalding Council Offices for our Academy Councillors along with other children.
