Wrangle Primary (WPA) – Autumn Term News

We are extremely proud of all of our pupils and their hard work this term. We have participated in a range of activities and events. During one of our events, our pupils enjoyed an Indian experience Day. We participated in Bollywood dancing, the story of Diwali and we created rangoli patterns.

Oak Class have taken part in a range of sports events;   including football and athletics. They have shown fantastic   team spirit and have enjoyed competing with pupils from   other local Boston Schools. We were extremely pleased to   have won some of our games!

Beech Class loved having a Grandparent to visit our school. He supported our History learning and bought in some of his original toys for the children to play with. We discussed how toys then are different from the toys we play with now and the pupils explained what video games are.    Willow Class loved having their parents to visit their classroom. The parents came in to help us to build houses from the Great Fire of London to support our learning. It turned into a hard-fought competition to create the most impressive with a thatched roof!

Our pupils have participated in a Zoom call live from Antarctica with Robert Swan OBE to learn about his explorations, Antarctica and the importance of keeping Antarctica safe and peaceful. We are going to follow this with an Antarctica Day next term!

After being incredibly busy storing honey, our bees are now having their winter rest, huddling the queen to keep her warm. Our Christmas events have begun and we are now feeling very Christmassy. As we close the term, we cannot wait to share our new pool building with you, which will be coming very soon! We are awaiting slightly warmer weather to lay the concrete and commence our building works.
