Wrangle Primary Academy (WPA) Enhancing Pupils’ Learning Experiences

Our new term has started positively, and we were all excited to return after Christmas. Within WPA, we have focused on reading for pleasure and our shared reading opportunities for pupils with our parents and carers. We held a range of reading sessions; including parents and carers; which were well attended and showcased our reading opportunities across the academy. We enjoyed reading together and we especially enjoyed the biscuits!

At WPA, we believe in enhancing our pupils’ learning experiences through a range of opportunities. So far this term, we have enjoyed visits from the Outer Dowsing team, who shared a Energise Wind Workshop with Oak Class. The pupils were fascinated building their own turbines and learning all about renewable energy. In Willow and Oak classes, we have participated in Dance and Indoor Athletics Development Days through the Boston School Sports Partnership.  Within Beech Class, we have created wormeries and conducted minibeast hunts – we have been fascinated by all the minibeasts we have found! We cannot wait for our other events this term.
