Students at University Academy Holbeach Sixth Form are celebrating an exceptional set of results, with every university applicant securing a place at their first-choice institution and a 100% pass rate achieved across all T Levels, A Levels and Level 3 courses.
Among this year’s successful cohort, one-third of applicants have secured places at prestigious Russell Group universities, highlighting the strength of student achievement and the quality of support provided throughout their studies.
These outstanding results reflect the hard work, dedication and ambition demonstrated by students, alongside the unwavering commitment of staff and the support of families throughout the academic year.

University Academy Holbeach Sixth Form offers a broad range of academic, technical, and vocational pathways, enabling students to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to progress to higher education, apprenticeships, employment and successful careers.

We are extremely proud of the outstanding achievements within our Apprenticeship Department.
The HIP Plumbing Competition provides a hands-on platform for demonstrating skills, speed and problem solving. Allowing participants to apply their practical plumbing knowledge under real-world conditions and time pressure.
This year Harry A, a 4th-year Apprentice from Holbeach Heating and Brandon H, a 4th-year Apprentice from Simon Barker Plumbing and Heating, took part and truly stood out.
Both of our apprentices demonstrated exceptional proficiency in their plumbing skills, consistently exhibiting accuracy, professionalism and strong technical knowledge throughout the challenge. They completed the competition to an outstanding standard, reflecting their dedication to the trade and the excellence of their training.
Matthew Oddie has been awarded the CIPHE 2025 Learner of the Year Award. Matthew is a 3rd year Apprentice at UAH (University Academy Holbeach) and has flourished throughout his plumbing apprenticeship with M.Yould and Sons Plumbing and Heating. Matthew always has a positive attitude to his work and the plumbing industry.
Founded in 1906, the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) is the professional body for the UK plumbing and heating industry. CIPHE is a membership body for those involved in all aspects of plumbing and heating. CIPHE has members worldwide and is the only chartered, professional body for the UK plumbing and heating sector.
UAH, like all schools within our fmaily, once again took time to pause and reflect upon the sacrifice made by those affected by war. Throughout the last two weeks, poppies were on sale at the Library, with some of our Prefects also going round to sell them to tutor groups.
School Council created our annual window display, which this year also features crocheted poppies created by the Academy’s Knit and Natter group.
Years 8 – 10 attended assemblies focused on the theme of Remembrance and Year7 attended a special assembly in the Hall, which featured readers from the year group, music from Chamber Choir singing a setting of In Flanders Fields and the assembly was also attended by pupils from uniformed groups, including Army, Sea and RAF cadets, Scouts and Guides.
The school observed the two minutes silence which ended with pupils listening to The Last Post.
The school was really pleased to also send representatives to the RBL Memorial service at the War Memorial in Holbeach. Seven pupils who had visited the battlefields in Ypres earlier this term attended the service and were also invited to lay a wreath.
