There was a great atmosphere at University Academy Holbeach this today as Year 11 students collected their GCSE results. Students celebrated with their families and staff as they reflected on their personal and academic success.
The results reflect the hard work, dedication and ambition demonstrated by students, alongside the unwavering commitment of staff and the support of families throughout their time at UAH.
Among this year’s successful cohort, a highly positive proportion of around 70% will be staying on to attend UAH’s Sixth Form, with its broad range of academic, technical, and vocational pathways, enabling students to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to progress to higher education, apprenticeships, employment and successful careers.
Outgoing Principal, Miss Sheila Paige said,
“We are absolutely delighted with the achievements our students have secured today. Their resilience and determination over these past two years have truly paid off, and it is fantastic to see them rewarded with the grades they deserve.
“I want to extend my sincere thanks to our wonderful staff, whose dedication is reflected in these results, and to our families for their continued, vital support. We look forward to welcoming many of these students back to our Sixth Form, which continues to go from strength to strength. For those embarking on new paths, we wish them every success for the future.”
